DevSecOps – Future Outlook On The Roadmap

As most of the organizations trying to unfold the “unique” secret of a successful transformation towards DevOps, it becomes more evident that continuously evolving needs, increasing pace, quality and security define the transition towards advance DevSecOps practices as well.

This paper is primarily inspired by a talk  that was presented at DevOps Summit 2020, Canada by Stefan Streichsbier. He presented “The Future of DevSecOps” using three main sections:

1) The Past – Ride down memory lane that helps to understand how software security has changed over the years

2) The Present – Where things are at today with Engineering and DevSecOps and existing challenges and

3) The Future – Take a look into the crystal ball to see what kinds of goals to achieve to make DevSecOps practices implementation and witnessing transformation with Speed and Quality.
